Tapas Truck is a food truck, serving (of course) tapas, making it an enticing alternative to the endless kabab and falafel trucks. You can find their location on their Twitter. I’m not sure how authentically Spanish some of their offerings are, like the “pork slider andaluz.” They’re generally tasty, though, and I like the fact that you can have a varied lunch by choosing a few of them. I ordered the popcorn chicken with pimiento sauce and garlic fries, the chorizo over rice, and mushrooms over rice. The fries were excellent but the popcorn chicken tasted as though it wasn’t fresh out of the fryer. I understand that food trucks need to prepare some things in advance and one of the downfalls of this place is that the large menu means that not every item is necessarily the freshest. That said, this truck gets points for being the only one serving tapas, which is cool for a change.
